BASF is looking to have improved visibility of its standard rotating equipment and a means to predict potential failures at its Ludwigshafen site.  ABB’s Rotating Machines Digital Services application is providing BASF a solution to diagnose and predict the health of its fleet of rotating machinery.

More specifically, BASF is benefiting from being able to visualize the health of all assets and learn what is going to fail and when it is going to fail. This allows the company to improve the maintenance strategy, moving from corrective to predictive.
